It is worth saying that everything seen here was made in my teenage years, from 14 to 17. While the quality of these individual pieces doesn’t stand out to me, I recognize it was all so necessary as

Ink on paper

In my early teens, I was obsessed with drawing. Like many others, it all began at school where I would sneak in a drawing or two in between classes, and eventually fill my sketchbook at the end of the year. Overtime, my interest grew beyond the bounds of my books, and I began attending classes at Parque Lage School of Art, mostly learning human anatomy through live-drawing sessions.

Stepping Into Photography

At the age of sixteen, I took a few introductory courses in photography. While my goal wasn’t to become a professional photographer, practicing my skills at that age thought me valuable lessons about the importance of composition, the joy of discovering beautiful little details and authenticity in street photography, and think it also planted the seed for later seeing the world through the lens of a virtual camera in After Effects and 3D software.
