West of Seattle

A few shots from a day exploring Lake Crescent and Rialto Beach near La Push, Washington. I couldn’t have wished for more amazing clear, blue skies that day. My daughter and I enjoyed the many hypnotic vistas around the lake, which was a much-needed relief away from the hot summer day.

At the beach, our goal was to photograph the rocky structure at the very end called “Hole in the wall”, which would have made a beautiful sunset-lit shot. However, the tide came in sooner than we had expected and kept us from reaching it.

These were taken with a Leica SL3 camera and shot on 24 and 50mm lenses.
