In Brazil, during the 80’s, we saw vast a mount of technology coming in from Japan. Casio for instance, dominated the market and so did Sony and other large companies. A trend I notice then, was the combination of multiple functions into one device. While often cumbersome, as I look back, these were really interesting user experience problems to solve for.

The series below is an open exploration with Midjourney to combine the 1940’s product design aesthetics with Japanese technology from the 80’s in new hybrid machines. I hope you enjoy.
